    Kriega offers a range of OS-Bases, for various bikes. Among these, there is a T700 specific OS-base. 

    Great thing with this harness is that it is made specifically for Tenere 700 (including World Raid), so positioning of the bags is perfect. Properly set, it hugs the bike very well and it is very secure. It rests on the side plastics almost entirely and even the largest bags (OS-18 Adventure packs) are away from the silencer. 

    T700 specific OS-base is designed to work without any racks, so the rear straps form a closed loop. Kriega supplies special T700 mounts which are bolted to the bike, as shown in the Kriega's instructions, and rear straps just loop over those. This works great if there is no rack installed on the bike. But if the rear top rack is installed, a problem occurs, as most rear top racks, including Perun moto's rack, are installed using the same threaded holes as Kriega's special T700 mounts. Workaround is mounting the Kriega's special T700 mounts on top of the rear rack's side brackets, using a longer bolt. But the problem is that the bolt will be too long, which will lead to a big leverage. Bolt could bend under the load. 

    Perun moto Yamaha Tenere 700 Top luggage rack is narrow and T700 OS-base fits perfectly over it. But there is that problem with the rear straps. So, for riders using Perun moto Yamaha Tenere 700 Top luggage rack, we fabricated our own special mounts for T700 OS-Base - Yamaha Tenere 700 Kriega mount.

    Main difference between Perun moto and Kriega mounts is in the way they are bolted to the bike - our mount has recessed hole for allen head bolt, so it uses much shorter bolt - M8x55. For added strength, we supply very strong 12.9 bolt. Also, our mount is a bit shorter, as it is supposed to mount on top of side brackets holding the rear rack. 

    Most importantly - functionality remains the same - Perun moto Yamaha Tenere 700 Kriega mount provides perfect spot for rear straps of Kriega T700 OS-Base. Now it is possible to easily integrate Kriega T700 specific OS-base and Perun moto Yamaha Tenere 700 Top luggage rack.
